Joining through this website

Choose the phone you will use, connect its Apple or Google account, then create or sign in to your KoMap account. You must have permission to use those accounts. We arrange beta access using Apple TestFlight or Google Play. Apple or Google may require additional acceptance, membership, review or installation steps. Their terms also apply to those services.

A saved sign-up confirms your registration; access depends on a test build being available and the platform accepting the invitation or enrollment. Pending invitations retry automatically. The beta can change or pause. Screenshots on this site show beta app components with illustrative map data and example community content; they are not a promise of live conditions or final features.

Company and contact

Komap is a product of SOARA AI SDN. BHD., Registration No. 202601027632 (1689728-T), based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Use hello@soara.ai for support, privacy requests, content complaints and moderation appeals. A store listing may identify an authorised publisher separately; that does not change the operator identified in these terms.

Using the beta

Use Komap only where lawful and where you can understand and accept these terms. Features may be released in beta and can contain incomplete coverage, errors or interruptions. Availability is described by the features actually enabled in your version, not by a roadmap, demo or social-media announcement. You must have permission to use the device and any account you connect. If you cannot legally accept these terms independently, involve your parent or guardian.

Drive safely

Follow road signs, local laws and actual conditions. Maps, traffic, routes, speed limits and camera information can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Never use Komap to justify speeding or unsafe driving. Enter destinations, change appearance, take photos and write messages only while safely stopped or through a passenger. Komap is not an emergency service.

Accounts and customization

Keep your credentials secure and use accurate information. Do not impersonate others, evade moderation, manipulate rewards or use automated accounts to disrupt the service. Vehicle appearance and points are cosmetic, have no cash value and do not change the routing vehicle type. No manufacturer endorsement is implied.

Community rules

Report conditions honestly and only when you can do so safely. Do not post threats, harassment, hate, sexual content, spam, illegal material, private personal information or content you lack permission to share. Do not coordinate illegal or dangerous activity. Use the report-content and block controls to flag problems, or contact support.

Ko-munity and verified accounts

Group leaders may appoint community admins and remove posts in their groups. Groups, posts, replies and attached media can be published immediately after automated checks. Platform moderators review reports of abuse and may remove content or restrict accounts. Public content may be reported, blocked or removed. Language filters assist review but cannot guarantee all abusive content will be caught. Verification confirms a reviewed account identity, not the accuracy of every post or a Komap endorsement. Brands must clearly identify promotional posts and state applicable offer conditions. Do not impersonate brands, road operators, public authorities or other users. Photos and clips require the rights and permissions needed to share them.

Your contributions

You retain ownership of material you submit. You give Soara permission to host, process, display and moderate it as needed to operate Komap. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for necessary backup retention and lawful obligations. You confirm that you have permission to upload the material. We may hide, remove or restrict content and accounts that breach these rules and can review support requests about moderation decisions.

Vehicles, points and payments

Free rides, account claims, referrals and earned Momentum Points follow the eligibility shown in the garage. Points are cosmetic service rewards, not money, transferable assets or a promise of cash value. Limited claims are subject to the displayed remaining supply and one eligible account per claim. Premium models may be preview-only while purchasing is unavailable; a locked preview is not a completed purchase. If paid digital unlocks are enabled, the app must show the store price, currency, product and applicable conditions before native Apple or Google checkout. Store payment and refund rules apply alongside rights that cannot be excluded. Do not pay a person, bank account or external link to unlock a vehicle. Account deletion does not by itself cancel a store-managed subscription; Komap currently offers no subscriptions.

Map, toll and community information

Toll amounts are estimates for the selected route and vehicle class where supported, not toll-operator quotes, toll payments or a guarantee of discounts. Alternatives can have different amounts. “No tolls” requires affirmative route evidence; unknown or partial coverage is labelled. Camera markers are a partial set of published locations or community observations, not proof that a camera is operating. Community confirmations are observations, not official verification. A closure report does not guarantee the routing provider immediately excludes that road.

Intellectual property and attribution

Komap and Ko artwork, software and designs belong to their respective owners. Mapbox, OpenStreetMap contributors and third-party vehicle or audio creators retain their rights; notices and required credits remain available in the app. Do not remove attribution, impersonate official partners or upload content without the necessary rights. No vehicle manufacturer, brand or road-operator endorsement is implied merely by a model, map label or demonstration.

Availability and responsibility

We may update, suspend or discontinue beta features. Do not rely on uninterrupted guidance or comprehensive camera coverage. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided without a promise that all information is accurate or always available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by Malaysian law, subject to any mandatory consumer or privacy rights that apply where you live. Contact hello@soara.ai first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing here prevents access to a competent regulator, consumer tribunal or court, or excludes a right or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Leaving and changes

You can stop using Komap and delete your account from Profile. We will communicate material changes to these terms and request renewed acceptance when appropriate. Company and explanatory disclosures were updated on 27 October 2026. Existing acceptance records are not rewritten or backdated. Material future changes will be notified and renewed acceptance requested when required.
